After an Emergency

How to recover from an emergency

Recovery involves steps taken to return to normal operations after a disaster or emergency incident. Some areas and services of the University may have transitioned to recovery while others are still in the response phase. The university will communicate regularly regarding the recovery process and its status - and let you know when it is safe to return to campus and your residence hall.

Please monitor official messages sent from Loyola via our Emergency Communications System.

Check-in and reunification process

After a major emergency incident, students, faculty, and staff may be instructed to check-in with the University. Faculty should check in with their deans, staff should check in with their supervisors and students should monitor University messages on when classes will resume.

Always be sure that your loved ones know you are safe.
